This is about the incident which occurred with me at Delhi Airport,
I was traveling back from Los Angeles airport on to Bhopal via Shanghai and Delhi. I had my connecting flight from Delhi to Bhopal with three hours of gap. Since , i was traveling first time was unaware about the Delhi international and Domestic airport, i realized that i have very limited time and need to leave the international airport as soon as possible. I was not carrying any items for which i had to pay duty.
I was stopped at green channel by two policemen, they said what are you carrying i explained them that i am not carrying anything else except a laptop, a camera, a mobile. I already knew that these items are allowed, if i am carrying a one piece of each.
They said " kaha se aa rhe ho"
I replied "US"
they said " $100 do nahi toh saman khulwao sara"
i said " mere pass $$ nhi hai, bole ki jaldi se nikalo warna saman kholo"
i wanted to catch my connecting flight to bhopal as i was unaware about the domestic and international airport connectivity and all. so i decided to pay them 3 notes of 500 rupees.
