Paid bribe to get VAT registration from LVO 055 office

I was made to run around for about 3-4 times and finally the sales tax inspector sought Rs.12,000/- and stated that he has to share the bribe with Asst. Commissioner, other clerks and include the government charges and shall get the VAT registration done.

Finally having no other go, paid Rs.12,000/- of which Rs.7500/- was government fees and the rest was bribe.
