Paid Bribe for GPA

For personal requriment requested for a GPA, paid 4k with that job was done with in 1 hour, that 4k was distrubited among all the employees including person taking photo- who gave us the first preferance instead of 20+ members waiting in the hall, agents were stating that Sub register officer had paid x lakhs as bribe to be placed in the location and he is recoverying that, not sure how far its true.
