Paid bribe for marriage registration

I got married in 2009. As we were travelling abroad and couldn't get passport updated in short timespan, we applied for our marriage registration. Even in presence of our parents and required proofs of marriage, judge needed another proof, that is, Rs.2000 . I was feeling so furious as well as helpless while doing this. I am so ashamed of such government employees of India. They are dark spots on face of country.
