In order to register a sale deed, I was asked to pay a bribe of Rs. 32000/- at BBMP Sub Registrar and Registrar of Marriages, Varthur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560087 on 20/04/2019. An employee who is working in the same office demanded to pay Rs. 35000/-, on hard negotiation I paid the said amount. Another friend of mine was also demanded to pay Rs. 10000/- for registering a flat sale on the same day by the same person at the same office.
