Paid a bribe for Police Verification

My Passpost file was stuck for want of Police Verification report from MICO Layout Police station. I was waiting for someone to give me call or visit my place for verification for two months. Nobody turned up. I visited the Police Station and found my pending verification report there. The person in-charge asked me INR 300 to verify immediately. The deal was stuck at INR 200. I do not remember the ********** but it was sometime in **********-June 2010
