There were 4 people. Three of them were students and I was the only one who was working. The police guy asked me multiple times to wait at the police station. After the inspector signed my documents, the "peon type" guy who did all the paperwork called all 4 of us in the room (he was the one who asked me multiple times to wait). After coming to know that 3 of them were students he let them go. He then again started re-doing the paperwork for me...I got confused as the paperwork was complete and inspector signed on my verification document. When I asked why, he started giving me hints and subtle threats of blocking verificiation...About an hour ago, two guys had bribed this policeman with Rs. 200 in front of my eyes. That time I understood he needed a bribe else he will block my application.
I had to shell out Rs. 500 and then he was happy....but even after a month, I'm waiting for my passport :-(
