Paid bribe to prove I live in my own home town.

I was forced to give a bribe of 1000 Rs to prove that i live in my own house. The police gave a false report that I am not a resident at my home town so I had to bribe them just to get my passport. Pathetic policemen took two such rounds of bribery to get me a clearance. Seems any one who is not even a legal resident could get their clearance just by bribing them where as legal cases like mine happen to suffer a lot.
