I was waiting on signal and suddenly a constable came up to check my papers. I said i have it but at the moment i am not carrying the originals and i have just shifted to Gurgaon. I said i will bring it to show you. he didnt agree. He said i am taking bike in custody and you will have to go to court and pay a huge amount. The process will take 1 month. And when i paid him Rs.200 he was happy to let go. The system of transferring vehicle to another state and getting a new license is so complicated that a working common man will never be able to do the formalities without paying bribe to middlemen.
