We had to cough up around 5K just to get the khata corrected. They did some drama that they had stopped accepting registering correction of khata. But as usual after paying, they suddenly started accepting.
It might be true that they purposefully make mistakes so that people will later come for correction. One should carefully check once the Khata is issued.
There are atleast 25-30 cases per day. So just imagine how mush the Babu must be making. Office looks like a dustbin. People are moving all over the place. This is the state of our govt offices. Sad...but true.
