We have applied for Ration card when we are in Chrompet area in chennai. We have furnished all of the necessary documents for the same. After some days a person from Ration card office came to our house for verification purposes. I met him and given all the documents he wanted. He should check the validity of the same but instead of that he demanded some amount. I dont want to argue with him since he may cancel our ration card application itself. So i paid him Rs 100 as bribe. After accepting the amount he started speaking to me with respect whereas before that he didnt behave himself. Then he left my home without even checking the validity of the documents and told our ration card will be ready within 1 or 2 weeks.
