Paid Rs. 200 to confirm a berth from Erode to Mumbai CST

I was going from Erode to Mumbai by Island express and my ticket status was "RAC" (Reservation against cancellation). I went and checked my ticket status in the Erode railway station. The ticket clerk told me that I will surely get a berth and asked me to talk to the TTR once I boarded the train. I contacted the TTR to check If I got get a birth as the travel would take 29 hours. The TTR told me that there was berth available but he would confirm it only if I pay him 200 as bribe. I had no option as I was already tired as I had travelled like 17 hours before I boarded the train and I desperately needed a berth. I paid him Rs 200 to get the berth confirmed.
