The kalyan east police station official called me that you are required to be present on sunday along with two witness for background verification. Afterward i went to the police station at the scheduled time and after verification of documents the police havaldar told me give 300 rs. for the same... i had no choice other than paying the money as my passport verification would not have been done as all the corruption was know to Sr. inspector and all the police staff of the kalyan east police station and it is the common practice in Mumbai and its suburbs.
