On my way to airport I drenched & so did my Passport, due to which lamination on cover pages came out.
The immigiration person at Kolkatta International Aiport told me "you can't be cleared under such circumstances & you will have problem in Singapore as well, but if you pay some bucks, I will ensure there won't be any problem :)
I was having high fever, didn't want to have end less debate & of course was scared what if the guy is true.. it was shear lack of awareness from my side as well
Ended up sneaking 500 bucks in side my passport & there you go.. guy stamped on my passport.
