Driving around the Outer ring road near Hebbal in Bangalore, unaware of the speed-gun that was tracking me, I was stopped by one traffic constable. Asking for the reason, he showed me the speed-gun and mentioned of my overspeeding. Said, my minimum fine would be Rs.600 - 300 for overspeeding @ 65kph, and another 300 due to the speed being dangerous. This guy got hold of my DL before any talk..., and after 15min of haggling over me agreeing to pay a fine, the full amount, and him asking me not to, I had to end up paying Rs.200 and unaccounted for the RTO. All this just to get back my DL, and shaming myself for having bribed him.:(
