I had passport inquiry, constable in police station in my village called me(he asked if i can come). I went there, showed my documents and completed other formalities. Recently Punjab govt have decided to charge fees for different things like for getting duplicate FIR= 150/-, for passport inquiry=100/- and so on. I payed 100 Rs and they gave me receipt. Constable didn't even ask me for more money. i really appreciated this move by my state govt. Most of the people don't want to pay twice.
