People in COURT take bribes

Reported on December 10, 2010 from Bangalore , Karnataka  ι Report #29257

I had parked my vehicle in front of BASE tutorials Basavanagudi and by mistake forgot to take the key from the vehicle. By the time i came back near the "Parking" place, my bike was no where to be found. I immediately reported the matter to the Basavanagudi Police station and the police asked me to come the next day as they will try to find my vehicle in the night beat rounds. After 2 days of visiting the station, the person incharge of FIR and Complaint took a complaint from us, siting the reason for late complaint as "I was searching the vehicle, and hence i dint file the complaint immediately". I got a call after a week from the police station saying that they had found my bike and i need to fight the matter in the court to get back my bike.

Day 1: Went to the court. Magistrate on leave, waited and came back.

Day 2: Went to the court, the case was put up after i bribed each and every court worker(maybe 6/7) with 100 rs each, without which they would not put up my case at all. Belive me they wouldn't allow us to touch the file and they would sign the file only if i paid them. After i got the release order from the magistrate court at bangalore, i went to the police station to get my vehicle. I had all documents in tact, but the vehicle wouldnt be released until i gave 4000 rs for the incharge. He was just smiling, told us to come the next day. I put my head down in shame and got my vehicle released. There was no horn, lights, petrol, battery in my bike.

When i asked where my vehicle was found, the police gave me an illogical explanation.
