I received a call from the police station to visit the station for passport verification. I am aware that my visiting the police station was not required as the details of the persons from whom the police can verify my details. I also knew the stories where the police verification was delayed intentionally and applicants had to run several times between passport office and police station for clearing their cases. Hence I had to pay a bribe of Rs. 100/- to clear my case without any delay
