Covid19 times are no doubt so much testing. And governments are asking people to stay indoor and imposing guidelines and restrictions.
Who would want to not comply with the government regulations? Many like me are coming out only out of force and with absolute unwillingness.
I was demanded a bribe of Rs. 200 by a traffic police person for coming out, though I possessed (and also properly presented on demand) all documents like Driving Licence, Vehicle Registration Certificate, Insurance copy, Employer Approval copy for travel etc. Though through this post I'm not wanting to make an issue out of the incident, I'm totally heartbroken and overwhelmed by the way the police person (who is seen as a person who is a friend and a support to a citizen, and who was once having an image equivalent to that of a good in my mind) handled me.
His only aim of sucking out some money out of me was absolutely clearly visible at the first instance itself. The totally uninteresting way in which he examined my documents was also clearly indicating his intentions of making this Covid19 situation to good benefit.
Such kind of derogatory acts are pulling the already tarnished image and repute over the police & law enforcement agencies still more down.
THE INCIDENT HAS CAUSED A DEEP IMPRESSION IN ME AND SOME MENTAL AGONY TOO..
