Hi, It was sunday afternoon on MG Road, the turning near Manipal center. There was diversion of traffic due to metro construction. This particular signalin front of the petrol bunk is not visible to the motorist and guessing that the traffic babu knows it. They just sat around at the turning very sure people would miss the signal and become prey to giving them pocket money. So they did and did not bother to give any reciept. I agree we were wrong in missing the signal, but the fine we paid was not to the gov but the officer and constable on duty. They took Rs. 90 as we did not carry much and said that wouldn't be eligible for a reciept. I hope some day they bring their duty before their pocket(stomach).
