Police at Dahisar Checknaka are charging 4 times the amount of traffic fine. My PUC had expired and was asked for 2000 rupees fine instead of 500 rupees as stated on Maharashtra Transport website which is pasted below. The officer in charge took money from me and did not issue the receipt. He kept on threatening me that he will take me to the police station. Since there were ladies in the car, I had no option but to pay as it was 1 o'clock in the night.
