I had gone to the IGI airport to pick up my mum.
As i was not of age yet , i was accompanied by my driver. After receiving my mother and loading all the luggage in the car , we were approached by a police officer. He asked the for the verification of car papers from the driver which was totally unjustified as he wasn't breaking any rules of yet to make him or us a questionable character. Started asking him weird questions about where the driver was from , his current employement status and started tormenting my me and my mother by telling us that we would have to go to him to some "thaana".Enraged as i at this blatant act of cooruption i looked around to contact any senior official and ask for help. I knew that this officer was targetting us because of no male adult (driver was too scared to do anything) with us.
After a while of this and our vehement protests he told us to get in the car and came to my Tmother side and rubbed hi hand.
my mother knowing this gesture too weel took out some money from the purse and offered it to him by taking her arm out of the window. At that moment he refused. As soon as my mother withdrew he snatched it from her arm when it was not visble from outside the car and went his way , quick paced.
Too tired after the icncident we decided to let it go as it would lead to much more aggravation which would probably be more of our headache and the officer would remain untouched and return home.
