To get my police verification done I was forced to pay a bribe to the policeman who came to my house. Since I was away at office he left a message with my wife that I need to visit him to ********** Nagar Police Station. I met him outside the PS with all my documents and after filling up the form he demanded that he be paid the money in lieu of sending a report to the passport office.
