An Tempo driver assaulted me when i questioned him about parking vehicle in middle of the road. Strangely enough 2 more people came from nowhere and joined him.
Not a single person came to my help.
Badly bruised and bleeding, i went to the Police Station. After waiting for one hour, one policeman accompanied me to the sight of assault. Ofcourse autodriver was gone.
After that policeman asked me for money. I asked him why?
He began noting down my vehicle number, and mumbling any kind of case ********** be registered, if he was not paid. I got the hint that he was threatening me with false case.
I did not want to give him anything, but seeing the apathy of other people around (nobody came to my help), i parted with Rs 300. Call it a bribe or thankyou for his useless service.
