Police verification was part time income for police

I have received a call for police verification on 03-10-2015...then i reached to the police station next day at 12:00 pm as per telephonic information, then around 1:00 pm sent me for a sing of ASI, but when i reached his office he went for the lunch, so i wait for him till 6:00 pm, then he signed on the paper and tell me for pay Rs. 100/- , when i asked him 'for what work i gave you money' , he replied for the police station stationary.
