Hi,

This took place on March 04, 2011, while we were on a road trip to Goa, we were not aware that Gujarat is a dry state, and were carrying two bottles of beer. We were stopped at the Gujarat border when we crossed rajasthan, we were traveling with our family and were not under any influence of alchohol, however, the constables and chowki incharge, said they would book us falsely and impound our vehicle, if we did not give them 4000 rupees (four people x 1000 each), after much haggling they agreed for 3000 rs and let us go, they even said that if we told anyone, they would deal with us appropriately, we were so scared, we avoided Gujarat altogether on our way back.
