On 13 June, a policeman came to my home for verifying the details regarding the passport. He checked every detail and was searching for even a minute fault in the documentation, but when the whole process got over and he had no excuse, he bluntly asked for bribe. He said, it is not for himself but he needed to pay to other officers. He further said that i f you don't give bribe, the chances of passport getting approved are very less. My home is very far away from the passport office and i can't waste another day to go to passport office. So I paid bribe to him in the end.
