Policemen asked for 500Rs only because its was another city's car.

I went to ahmedabad for my personal work in my car, my insurance was finished and i had already issued another insurance, but the insurance company told that they would sent the insurance copy to my mailing address, uptil that time they gave me a temporary insurance policy paper and told that this is valid uptil u get your original insurance policy copy. A troop of policemen just stopped my car because it was another city's passed car, and it was not a GJ-1 car, its was some else and started questioning us which was fine. But later they asked about my insurance which I told them that i had a temporary policy which the insurance company had issued and told me that was valid, but they didnt wanted to listen and told me that i had to give them 500Rs or instead come to the police station and give the car and get it from there after u get the original policy. I was agrevated, but I didnt had any option instead paying them the Bribe....hope the corruption stops one day and our struggling country comes further enough to compete the world....
