Policemen collected Rs.500 for Passport police verification

One policemen came to my residence for passport police verification and then he simply said "Sub Inspector is waiting outside" so that is's common and we have to understand that they are expecting money.. i gave 100 rupees, then he bargained for 500 and telling nowadays all things are gone high price...
