Paid a cool 3 lakhs bribe to the TNEB board in adyar. Have been chasing them for nearly 3 months since the completion of the house and they refused to come till a inital deposit of 1 lakhs was paid. And demanded 2 lakhs after connection was establised or else meters wouldnt be installed was the threat. WOW I wish i was in their ring. 3 lakhs for one house mean atleast 1000 houses are to be built in this location every year. A cool 30 crs every year spilt by atleast 10 ppl there equals 3 crs min to everyone. Whew tried contacting a uncle who works for the goverment. He tired his best and dint succeed. This needs to be checked because I have gone though a **********a lot of mental stress to get electricity. For a moment I thought I will go with out any services provided by the goverment!! Privatisation will be better in this sector.
