Registering imported car

Took me 8 days to get car from UK to india on a ship
4 months to get it out of excise dept(& 27000 rs) then 8 months (& one RTI which no one responded in last 2 years! & 17000 rs bribe) to get the car registered so i can drive my own car that i was driving in UK & imported to india when i came back.Why because i returned to india for good!!
