Registration of sale deed - though final owners are not shown how much exact bribe is given to the Registration department, the amount charged by land developers for registration is about 30,000 to 40,000 INR for a total land cost of 10 Lakhs. Given the % tax for registration specified by Government (comes to about 10k if calculated based on Govt specified land price), it is clear that the rest is paid as bribe to the Registration department. Official receipt is infact given only for about 5000 *******
