Was returning from a night-out with friends and was driving my friends car (who was sleeping in the back seat). When i was stopped at the police check-post the fat and burly officer in charge noticed that i was driving with two ladies in the car. He asked for my liscence and registration which i provided, and then asked me to blow into the back of his hands to 'test for driving under the influence'. I know i was well within the legal limits for alcohol consumption and i'm certain that my driving was not in any way impaired. However he started harassing me for driving under the influence. Having been raised abroad i speak basic hindi and that too with an accent which did not help my cause in trying to explain or rationalize with the officer. Furthermore, i was more concerned for my two lady-friends. I paid the guy just to get it over with and be on my way but he had the audacity to ask for more!
