I gave a bribe of Rs500 to police. He (the officer ) demanded it as his right. I have detailed my story in the blog below , which was written to inform people about technicalities and paperwork for getting a New Passport , but as i learnt Paying bribe to police is also a part of the whole process of getting a passport.
