We were trying to get sales tax and service tax certificated for moving our machinery into the Assam state. At first we paid 500 rs bribe to an advocate in public notary of bongaigaon to get a rent agreement of our office. Then we paid 30000 to a consultant named sanjiv who operates in bongaigaon for service, sales and other taxes. it is said that he has some relatives working in these departments and thats how they facilitate these bribes.When we asked for the expense detail he told us only 2000 rs have been deposited for money and rest of money will take care of the paperwork.The certificate was made in three days only.
