My children used to study in Sumaiya English High school. Thay had taken the original birth certificate at the time of admission and issued a Leaving certificate at the time when I withdrew my children from that school to put them in other school.
Recently when I went to the school and asked for the original Birth certificate as I required to apply for the Aadhaar card, the owner of the school asked for a refundable deposit of Rs15000 , and gave a 10 days to return te B.C after wich I will have to pay Rs1000 for each day that I delay. When I returned the B.C in expected time, the owner of the schooll said This is the first and last time I have given you the B.C, otherwise we charge 5000 for giving the B.C.When I requested him to attest the Xerox copy of the B.C, in case I require again, he refused to attest and humilated, just for asking to put his signature on the copies of the B.C.
Please take some action so that other innocent people are not harrased by such illegal demands of the school authority.
