Security Cops ask for Bribe
I was returning from America, and I had all my proper documents. Despite of that the security cop at the gate did not let me leave until I paid him Rs.500.
When I gave him my passport, he said, "Bag mein kya hai?". I said, "Laptop hai." Then he asked "Laptop ka receipt kahan hai?" I said, "Laptop 5 saal purana hai. Company ka hai. Receipt kyun chahiye? India se liya tha." Then he pushed me aside, thrust my passport in my hand and said "Kuch karo". I didn't understand what to do, so I started walking again towards the gate. Then he stopped me, and snatched my passport and opened it to see if I put any money inside it. Seeing no money, he got angry and said, "Tumne to kuch bhi nahi kiya. Tumhe to kuch to ********** chahiye. Kuch to diyo." Then I gave him Rs. 100 and he said "Itne mein kuch nahi hoga." Then he basically let me go after I gave him a Rs.500 note.
