Sir, we the kerosene dealers of Darjeeling area, are very much suffering from the Govt. officials. Mainly the Sub-Divisional Controller of Food & Supplies, Darjeeling, Mr. ******* is the biggest bribery taker in this area.There are 12 agents and 392 dealers.Mr. Y takes Rs.25,000 from the agents and Rs.1000 to Rs.2500 from the dealers every month. If any dealer protests, Mr.Yolmo threatens to cancel or suspence their licences. Apart from this, Mr. Y often prepares different types of traps, that a dealer can be traped easily.
For an example-Mr.Y says a dealer to sold all the stock in this month. Similerly, the dealer do as per order, but next month Mr. Y want to see our opening stock. And he demand us for Rs.50,000 as there is no opening stock.
In the year 2010-2011 I paid Rs. 2.80,000.
