A sum of 14 lakh rupees had to be paid to the chairman of Dalkhola Municipality, Shri. Subhash Goswami for recruitment to the post of Overseer. The poor person had to sell his ancestral agricultural land to pay the bribe. Now there are 42 (forty two) permanent posts sanctioned for the municipality and the asking rate varies from 7lakhs to 14 lakhs. One councillor Shri. Lala Bhawania, whose wife is a TMC councillor is the king pin brokering the deals. A farcical examination was held recently but we all know who will get through. Please help the poor people of Dalkhola by stopping such injustice. We too are humans and deserve justice, despite being from a backward district.
