Hi, i am travel agent. having office near surat railway station. i help people to apply for passport on the basis of all legal procedure. but i come to know that mostly in all police station in surat district.. they ask for a bribe for the passport verification. they upfrontly ask rs.200 per applicant. recently i have applied for passport application of one family of 06 members. they went to the police station for verification and one person called chandu bhai.. he asked for rs. 200 per applicant.. this is very common in all the police station in surat district. i have also sent a mail to the CM of gujarat but no responce.
