I have not disclosed the bribe amount I have paid. But this is one interesting story that everyone would like. I was caught at the major junction in Bangalore Jayanagar. I got all my documents, which were verified by the traffic and it was the last day when my emission test was going to expire. I was on my way for the test to done. This where the police person caught me, The change of character. While I was displaying my paper, he was able to understand and speak English, Hindi. When he saw my emission test and find that it was the day going to expire, he did not know any language other than Kannada and started fighting it was not only the Traffic police, but his senior person too. They started telling me we will seize you vehicle and you will need to pay 1000/- Rs or pay us 500/- and we will let you go. I was ready to pay 500/- asked them for the receipt which they said we are not going to give. This where I understood that they were just looting me. I stood my stand there and asked the senior traffic police to show if they have rule to fine on the same day(last day). He did not answer my question. After about 30 minutes of fight, the police settled it for Rs.50/- and I thought this much I can pay for all the fight with me. Again there was no receipt provided.
