11.45pm, 8 Sep 2010: Paid a bribe of 100rs to a traffic cop who regularly inspect in that area, for taking a left turn when there was no NO FREE LEFT TURN board.Upon argument,the cop states in Kannada,"If you cannot speak in Kannada,don't speak too much otherwise I will charge you with jumping RED SIGNAL case with bill for which you will need to pay 300Rs.So better pay 100Rs and leave".Victimized for an error caused unknowledgeably.But,brutally severed the "Indian" inside me when the local language holds higher than the national language, more so disrespected for using the same with another Indian (the cop itself). Gimmicks to loot the poor common man.
