I was waiting at the junction near Electronic City for the signal to go green. I didnt jump the signal. I was waiting at the signal and I asked the traffic police standing there whether there is a U turn there or whether I should go further and take a U turn at the next junction. He said that we can take a U turn at the junction where we were waiting. He said that I jumped the signal and demanded for bribe. How could I have jumped the signal while I was speaking to him??? He said that if we dont give him money, he will file the car no. for signal breaking, also file another case that the no. plate is broken. Since I didnt want any case under my name, I paid him bribe for nothing. I consoled myself thinking he will take sweets for his kid that night. Such corrupt government officials should be punished.
