Today I went to NDLS railway station, to drop my mother and sister in law who are leaving to Guwahati. First I went directly to the platform ticket counter but found nobody to issue the ticket. So, I went inside the platform without the ticket. After boarding them in the train I was returning, when two TTs stopped to show ticket. I explained the situation but they vehemently asked me to pay a penalty of Rs.255. I didn't have much money in my wallet. The TT asked me how much I can pay. I said I have only Rs. 100. He took the money and did not give me any receipt. Very poor and ridiculous service, moreover I had to pay the bribe for no fault.
