For a passport verification, all the procedures were followed as per rules with good understanding between the officer and us to complete the process. All said and done, the passport verification officer hastily asked at a corner of the police station to give him "something". We had no other go, thinking that if not paid they would create a black spot on the report they send on false terms, hence pulled out Rs. 50 to pay him but he asked for Rs 100 instead, but we only offered to give him Rs.50 finally.
