I didn't pay the bribe, my mother did. I was driving the car with everything intact (seatbelts, first aid box, etc.). The police at roundabout near GCG 11 came and asked me about the registration papers, my license and pollution certificate. After having a look at them, they told me that I'll be booked for not having a valid pollution certificate. I asked them to look at it once again, as I'd renewed it the same day. They said that they'll book me for shouting at them. See, I was driving a vehicle with Haryana's number plate. My mother thus offered them some money to sort the matter. They said it'll take Rs. 600. Finally, they settled for 200.
