I have gone to vat office for registration to obtain TIN number. I have to bribe at every level - to sign the certificate officer has collected Rs.1500, inspector has collected Rs.1000 and the typist, receipt maker all together Rs.1000. They even go to the extent saying that they are the cheapest among the all the vat offices.
