Our company had to register for VAT. All our documents were in order but they kept asking for other documents.
Finally we realized they wanted money. They asked for Rs. 500 and after receiving this they asked our CA to come to their office once again. We refused to pay anything more and finally after 5 days they agreed to give us the VAT number. However the certificate is still not received by us.
