Visa Re-entry
I have just spent the last three months backpacking india and nepal. Having left India for Nepal apparently you have to leave two months before you are able to re enter the country. I was not aware of this fact and as my entry back into India was after 30 days i was asked to pay 800 rupees to the customs official at the Sunauli border crossing. I was informed that the alternative was a trip back to Kathmandu to apply officially through the Indian embassy. I paid the money and obtained the stamp.
