I had to pay Rs 250 for a Notary Stamp on a Power of Attorney paper. Prior to Notary , I went to a bank for and paid Rs 100 for franking which was genuine without bribe. The "Power of Attorney" paper was to authorize and agent to collect my passport from an Embassy. Now, can you tell me, what should be the exact amount of Notary cost officially? And, how can we enforce it?
